Our Leader

Our Director/Principal Consultant, Mrs Lim Poh Pian is a seasoned HR practitioner with hands-on experience in a variety of HR and Management functions supporting manufacturing plants, commercial, technology and sourcing teams. Prior to starting her consulting firm, she had more than two decades of managerial experience at operational and strategic levels with the General Electric (USA) Company.

During her career in General Electric, she held several key human resource positions which included Regional HR Manager for GE Industrial Systems SEA and Australia; Business HR Manager and Plant HR Manager for GE Hermetic Motors Operations supporting three unionized Plants in Singapore and one Plant in Malaysia. As the Regional HR Manager, she was responsible for both manufacturing and commercial businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia. She had worked with Asians and western expatriates and was instrumental in creating several re-location as well as repatriation packages for assignments in Asia including China and India.

Since starting Target Executive Talent (TET), she had the golden opportunity to work with various industries including manufacturing, information Technology, healthcare and pharmaceutical, telecommunication, aerospace and financial institutions

Graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from Brunel/Henley University of West London, she was a certified GE Six Sigma Green Belt. She was also a certified trainer for the GE Managerial Modeling Program and a facilitator for the GE Work-Out Skills. She is a Professional Member of the Singapore Human Resources Institute since 1990.

Her extensive experience in both the manufacturing and commercial sectors support her ability to source for the right candidate and assess their technical expertise suitably for the required position.
